Our client Barnabas Aid is a Christian charity that aims to support Christian communities and churches around the world that face persecution and discrimination because of their faith. This is a great opportunity to join an organisation where you can use your unique talents to serve the global persecuted church.

 

Reporting to the National Director, you will use your networking skills to help grow relationships with Churches, supporters and volunteers to drive growth in NSW.

This role will be based in Sydney from a home office, with a focus on growing the supporter base of Barnabas Aid, developing partnerships with Churches, establishing solid pastor networks and a volunteer base and growing prayer groups to uphold the ministry of the Baranabas fund.

 

  You will also;

  • Present and speak at churches, conferences and events as required to highlight the work of Barnabas Aid.
  • Assist the National Director with the training, development and management of NSW based volunteers.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of expansion strategies for all key opportunities across your region.
  • Develop a network of volunteer speakers, through recruiting them in local churches.
  • Oversee the food.gives established logistic network in NSW.

 

About You;

We are seeking a servant leader who is strongly aligned to the mission of this global ministry who can inspire others and build solid relationships with churches and key stakeholders. You’re a person of integrity, highly organised, has good business acumen, your people focused and can pioneer new opportunities across your State.

You have a genuine passion for helping people and can demonstrate ability in public speaking and possess a good knowledge and understanding of the Christian landscape in Sydney. Previous experience working in a Christian not-for-profit organisation or past church experience will be highly regarded.

A generous salary package will be offered commensurate with your experience including, base salary with salary packaging benefits, super and flexible working arrangements.
